Japan Satellite TV

JSTV broadcasts a variety of Japanese TV programmes and advertising 24 hours per day, serving subscribers in Europe and the Middle East. These channels are both encrypted and free to air. Pinesoft have a twelve year association working with JSTV, first creating their Customer Management software application, which links to their broadcast network to activate and deactivate set top box viewing cards. This application was further enhanced with online credit / debit card authorisation software, linking to Barclays Merchant Services and Japanese banks.

Most recently, due to JSTV processing card payments, a need has arisen to become PCI (Payment Card Industries) compliant. This has involved software and system infrastructure changes as JSTV work towards successfully completing the PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire.

Swiss Post International UK (SPI UK) was established in 1997 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss Post International. Operating exclusively within the wholesale market, SPI UK provides an excellent range of products and services designed for large postal consolidators as well as small mailing houses.

Previously Swiss Post International UK (SPI UK) had offices / warehouses in Colnbrook and on the Heathrow perimeter, these two distinct locations are being consolidated to a single site near Heathrow. The old Heathrow warehouse moved in August 2009, the Colnbrook offices and warehouse will relocate in February 2010. From an IT perspective, Pinesoft are project managing this relocation for Swiss Post International UK (SPI UK).

As new customers adopt the ParcelXchange field delivery model, created through Pinesoft’s Express Software Development they are set up on the existing infrastructure utilising VMware technology.

Business Direct’s off-site hosted server infrastructure is securely accessed via VPNs from multiple locations in the UK, Europe and around the world.

As they open in new territories, their investment is as close to zero as it’s possible to be.

It was through our track record of putting innovative support packages together, and our notable expertise in hosting solutions, that Pinesoft were able to apply pure logic to a logistics solution for Business Direct.
