Pinesoft are currently looking for talented Programmers and Agile QA/testers.
Are you a programmer with principles, who knows your Liskov Substitution from your Single responsibility?
Are you an Agile QA/tester who knows that testing for defects is a Lean waste, un-afraid to pair with programmers right there at the keyboard?
Do you enjoy working in a real team environment: understand how a team works, are happy to communicate, conflict, resolve those conflicts, encourage or be encouraged?
Pinesoft is looking for like-minded people to join a team currently comprised of 5 Agile developers, all practising as much pair-programming and TDD as possible.
All our teams continuously integrate, with automated builds, iterate every two weeks, collaborate closely and communicate openly.
We need programmers who love being part of a small team, who have big ideas and want to help them break away from their legacy systems, while keeping the good stuff. Programmers who understand that re-writing a non-trivial system from scratch leads to despair.
We want people who've tasted the freedom of a clean codebase and want to give that experience to others.
The team need help as they move into the world of C#.NET, WCF web services, WiX installers and the refactorings available in Visual Studio 2008 and ReSharper. There's patterns in that there legacy code, and they need somebody with OO skills to help them realise them, clean them, eventually make them anew.

The team also need to grow their Agile QA and testing capability. They need somebody who know how to use their time effectively whether pairing with programmers or not, who preferably have heard of, if not read Agile Testing: A Practical Guide for Testers and Agile Teams, and who are ready to help Pinesoft as a company learn their skills and increase effectiveness across the board.
